[...] Adam Broitman came to town to discuss the way buzz is buzzed these days. Though Adam’s message (listen to it here) was brief, it was a potent sermon on the value of interaction in communication. And since advertising is my J-O-B, I need to learn as much as I can about communicating well. [...]

Thank you so much. I have to tell you that your email is exactly the reason I speak in public and it people like yourself who motivate me. I am dedicated to helping you through the process, as I know it is overwhelming and challenging.

The one thing that I can promise is that it is very rewarding!

Welcome to the conversation!

Adam, loved your presentation. I am going to admit that I'm really a social media baby, but I am taking your challenge and diving right in. Thanks for the motivation to be part of the revolution!

Obviously, you are not a golfer.

Thanks for keeping the conversation going, Adam. I've thrown out a trackback to post message, and i'm sure all three of my friends will follow it, along with the links to Arkansas Business. By the way, AB has been a blog champion for blogging for what seems like an eternity. Fantastic job, AB folks.

As I walked back to my office from the PRSA luncheon, I thought about all of the available channels, and how overwhelming it can be to feel the need to be involved in every one of them. It's simply impossible, so I choose to not let it intimidate me, I just join in the conversation where I can, and keep a calm naivete about where I can't.
