		<description>I really believe that it has more to do with how media is connecting TO search.  For instance, blogs using pings to update blog searches of new content.  As content is being developed there needs to be avenues for services to talk those aggregating the content.  Blog searches are only the beginning but say there was that sort of pinging service for pictures and video that was not platform (Flickr vs. Picasa, YouTube vs. Blip.tv).
