I agree that one of the great things about blogging is that there are no rules.  I do think, however, that first time bloggers should put a &quot;commitment&quot; rule into place.  Commit to writing once a week, for instance, and stick with it.  Without that commitment, its far too easy to start/stop/start/stop/stop/stop/stop/quit.  It can take months and even years to see the benefits of blogging but, from what I&#039;ve been told, the benefits are definitely worth it.

Now I just have to take my own advice.... :)</description>
